Bread From Heaven Christian Fellowship is a non-profit religious organization established by a missionary couple from the United States. They came here to the Philippines in 1982 to share God's word. They also wanted to put up their own church. In 1987, the church was established and was originally named BF Homes Christian Fellowship. This church grew until it eventually changed its name to Bread From Heaven Christian Fellowship. BFHCF grew and they were able to plant many other churches under them.

Their mission statement is: "To glorify God by providing a model and assistance to the Christian Reformed Congregations in the Philippines in areas of Church Growth, Church Planting, Church Development and Church Health, through the ministries of preaching, equipping, teaching, and supporting."

The church has many ministires under them that cater to the different needs of different people. For example, there is a Helper's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Senior Citizen's Ministry, etc. One of those Ministries is the Youth Ministry.

The Youth Ministry is composed of the young people ages 13-21. Its goals are in line with the churches goals. It provides spiritual, emotional, and social assistance to youth by holding activities such as youth camps, bible studies, sports activities, etc.

In 1999, the Youth Ministry put up a website. A website is basically web files compiled together to form a website. They are virtual pages accessible to almost anyone. Websites are used by companies for promotion, information desimination, etc. It may be for art, information, education, culture, etc.

The goals of the youth website are very basic too. They are: 1) informing the youth of activities and other announcements, 2) inviting other youth to try and attend youth services in BFHCF, 3) giving way to young writers by publishing their articles and poems online, and 4) making known to the youth prayer requests, needs, and others. They believed that a website would be best in reaching these objectives for the simple reason that websites prove to be appealing to the youth.

This research paper will study the Youth website and will show whether or not the website was successful in its communication goals.
